Embrace
Self-compassion
Embracing therapy is an act of self-love, a declaration that we deserve compassion and healing. As we navigate the ebbs and flows of this transformative expedition, we learn to befriend ourselves, embracing all aspects of our being with grace and acceptance.
"Compassion: the power behind healing"
My name is Dianna Lesperance (she/her), and I am a Registered Counselling Therapist (Candidate) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists and a member of the Canadian Counselling Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
In today's fast-paced society, it’s easy to feel disconnected and overwhelmed. I offer a compassionate, safe, and trusting environment where clients can foster self-awareness, self-acceptance, and healthier relationships. With a gentle approach, I support clients in navigating life's complexities, helping them develop stronger connections with themselves and their families.
My background includes a corporate career in operations, sales, and analytics, which later led me to establish a divorce coaching practice and work in social services. This journey ignited my passion for mental health and a deeper understanding of the human experience. I work with individuals, couples, and families from a non-judgmental perspective to address relationship issues, co-parenting, divorce, depression, grief, identity, neurodiversity, and more.
I specialize in Divorce Coaching, the Gottman Method, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Integrative Sex Therapy for Couples, and Somatic Therapy. Additionally, I incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mental health nutrition to provide a holistic approach to emotional well-being.
